It's applied by spray onto a prepared surface, building a textured, stone-effect finish that transforms how a property looks. Allan Anderson is a fully approved applicator for Infinity Effects, the spray granite system he uses. That approval matters: the finish depends on correct preparation, application and system use, and it's the reason spray granite finishes come with a 10-year guarantee. Allan owns the business and carries out every application himself. You speak to him at the consultation, and he's the one on site doing the work. ### Who it's for Homeowners wanting to upgrade the look of their property, landlords refreshing rentals, and commercial owners improving kerb appeal. ### When it's needed When surfaces look stained, patchy or dated, when a property needs a premium look, or before selling or letting. ### Why use an approved applicator Spray granite relies on a system. An approved Infinity Effects applicator follows it properly, and that's what makes a 10-year guarantee possible. What it costs to wait ## Tired surfaces drag the whole property down The outside and key surfaces of a property set the first impression. Stained, patchy or dated finishes make a home look neglected, even when the inside is immaculate. ### Lower kerb appeal First impressions shape what buyers, tenants and customers expect inside. A tired exterior lowers that expectation immediately. ### Repeated short-term fixes Repainting or patching tired surfaces again and again costs more over time than one durable finish. ### Weak position when selling A dated property gives buyers a reason to negotiate. Presentation matters. ### Common mistakes to avoid - × Choosing a non-approved installer, which can mean no meaningful guarantee. - × Picking a colour without seeing a physical sample in daylight. - × Painting over problems that keep coming back. - × Rushing preparation, which affects how any coating performs. - × Comparing quotes without checking what guarantee is included. In detail ## Spray granite explained How spray granite works, the Infinity Effects system, where it's used, and what to consider for homes and businesses across Glasgow and West and Central Scotland. ### The Infinity Effects system Infinity Effects is the spray granite system Allan is fully approved to apply. Being approved means he has been trained in the system and applies it as intended, from surface preparation through to the final coat. That approved application is why spray granite finishes come with a 10-year guarantee, giving you protection that a one-off decorative coating rarely offers. ### How the finish is created Spray granite is applied in stages onto a prepared surface. The process builds up a speckled, multi-tone texture that mimics natural granite. Colour combinations can be chosen to suit the architecture of the property and the surrounding area. Preparation is critical. Surfaces are cleaned and prepared so the coating bonds properly. Allan assesses the condition of your surfaces during the free site visit. ### Colours and effects From light, classic greys to warmer sandstone tones and darker granite effects, spray granite can be tailored to suit traditional Scottish properties as well as modern builds. Physical samples are brought to your consultation so you can judge colours in natural daylight. ### Where spray granite is used Spray granite is used to transform surfaces on homes, rental properties and commercial buildings. It's a strong choice where you want a premium, stone-like appearance with long-term protection. Allan covers properties across Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Ayrshire, Hamilton, Motherwell, Coatbridge, Airdrie, Cumbernauld and Stirling. ### Residential vs commercial For homeowners, spray granite is about pride in the property and long-term value. For commercial owners, it's about first impressions for customers and reducing ongoing maintenance. Both benefit from the 10-year guarantee. ### Related services - Venetian Plaster - Decorative Feature Walls - Commercial Finishes - All microcement & decorative finishing services ### Areas covered - Spray Granite Glasgow - Spray Granite Lanarkshire - Spray Granite Renfrewshire - Spray Granite East Kilbride - Spray Granite Ayrshire - Spray Granite Paisley - Spray Granite Central Scotland - Spray Granite Hamilton - Spray Granite Motherwell - Spray Granite Bearsden - Spray Granite Newton Mearns - Spray Granite Kilmarnock - Spray Granite Coatbridge - Spray Granite Airdrie - Spray Granite Cumbernauld - Spray Granite Kirkintilloch - Spray Granite Clydebank - Spray Granite Giffnock - Spray Granite Ayr - Spray Granite StirlingBook a free spray granite consultation Working with Glasgow Microcement ## What to expectfrom first call to handover Glasgow Microcement LTD is owned and run by Allan Anderson, a specialist applicator of decorative finishes. There is no sales team and no subcontracting of the finish itself: the person who visits your property, measures up and talks through samples is the same person who applies your spray granite finish. Allan is a fully approved Cimentart microcement applicator and a fully approved Infinity Effects spray granite applicator. Approval means the materials are applied the way the manufacturer intends: preparation, layering and protection all follow the system rather than shortcuts. When a project needs more than a finish, such as a new shower, a moved sink, trimmed doors or boxed-in pipework, Allan ties in directly with trusted plumbers and joiners. You get one point of contact who plans the order of work, so trades are not left waiting on each other and nothing falls between the gaps. ### Free, no-obligation site visit Allan comes to your home or premises, checks the existing surfaces and explains honestly what is and is not suitable before any quote is agreed. ### Physical sample boards Colours and textures look different under Scottish daylight and your own lighting. Samples let you see and touch the finish where it will actually live. ### A clear written quote Every project is priced individually after the visit, so you know exactly what is included before you commit. No guide prices are given without seeing the job. ### £3 million public liability insurance Work is carried out with £3M public liability cover in place, for homes and commercial properties alike. ### Planned working hours Monday to Friday 7:30am–5pm and Saturday 8am–12pm. This is planned, booked work rather than an emergency call-out service. ### West and Central Scotland Based in Glasgow and covering Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, East Kilbride, Ayrshire, Paisley, Stirling and the towns in between.
